Known as Australia’s oldest football silverware, the Atkinson Price Challenge Cup was formed way back in 1887 and was played between Highlands and Granville Associations.
After the Cup went missing for more than a century, the two associations recently agreed to revive the contest and honoured the Scottish heritage of the original Granville FC and Joadja Creek teams which also included a bag piper leading both teams out pre kick-off.
